Where the main stair is not yet safe, we work the back stair or establish a temporary ground-floor arrangement.

Your therapist measures strength, joint range of motion, standing balance, and gait speed, then applies them to the residence: entry steps, the main and service staircases, upper-floor bathrooms, the distance from the street, and the route to where a vehicle stops. Medications, blood pressure response to standing, and fall history are reviewed.

Household Staff and Discretion

Where a residence has staff, and with your consent, we brief them on guarding, which transfers require assistance, and what to do after a fall — limited to what is necessary. Patient information is handled under HIPAA, therapists arrive in unmarked personal vehicles on request, and clinicians do not discuss patients outside the care team.
